The features of the new V2 unit are:-

New impact resistant deiign
Unique LITE-SET lamp life timer
Tricolour indicator for lamp changes.
Opposing inlet and outlet for easy installation
Four stage hosetails for flexible hose from 1/2" to 1 1/4"
UV shield to prevent direct viewing of the UV lamp.
Compact, rigid pipe adaptors, for 32mm, 40mm or 1" rigid pipe
36 month guarantee.

Review for the UV Steriliser - Vecton UV8 (8w U.V Steriliser).

I had an out-break of a parasitic disease (flukes) which I treated for 10 days. I ordered the UV Steriliser during the medication of the tank, and i really needed the UV steriliser to be installed by the last day of the course; so it could get to work as soon as the meds had finished.

Charterhouse Aquatics were the only company online that I could find who would offer this unit at such short notice, not to mention the best price I had seen.
They "bent-over-backwards" to get the unit here on time and they did so very comfortably.

I would also like to comment on how easy the unit was to install into my system, and most of all how friendly Charterhouse Aquatics were.
The UV unit is now running and i can sleep a little easier at night; knowing that my fishes are much less likely to have another out-break as they did before.
I also find this website very easy to navigate, informative, good looking, up-to-date and easy to use - the way a website should be.

I would like to recommend Charterhouse and this unit to everyone.
