| The skimmers of the Classic DOC skimmer model series operate according to the horizontal rotation principle of the first generation, supplemented with the newly developed air production of the Hydrofoamer. Despite its very small structural shape, this unit has an excellent skimming performance, and is especially suitable for breeding tanks with living plankton. Classic DOC skimmer models can be placed easily and discreetly in the aquarium directly. The immersion depth ranges from 60 to 90 mm (2.3 to 3.5 in.). They can also be used in aquarium cabinets and tolerate water level variations of +/- 20 mm (.78 in.) without readjustment of the air output. Skimmer cup and foam reactor are one unit in all TUNZE® ClassicDOC skimmers. |
