Good water quality is the key to healthy fish and trouble free fishkeeping. Traditional methods of testing the water can take time, and are not ideal for situations where time is limited, or when frequent testing is necessary (for example in newly established aquariums). The TetraTest 5 in 1 dip test offers a perfect solution, by testing for 5 essential water quality parameters in less than 60 seconds. Simply dip one strip into the water, and within a minute you will have readings for nitrite, pH, carbonate and total hardness, and nitrate.
How it Works
The test works by changing colour when dipped into the aquarium. The colours indicate the level of each parameter being tested, corresponding to values that are clearly printed on the pack.
How to Use
Simply dip the test strip in the water for a few seconds, and then wait a minute for it to change colour. Then just compare the colours to the chart on the pack to get your readings. Always read the instructions before use.
