The benefit of the Original Tropical Lamp is now available in a new compact version.

Like its well-known linear tube namesake, the spectrum of light emitted promotes photosynthesis, and therefore promoted healthy growth plants, as well as highlighting the colours of fish and plants. In addition, the Original Tropical Light accentuates reds and blues within the aquarium.

Supplied with every Arc-Pod, the Original Tropical compact lamp is also available as a separate item – for replacement lamps for the Arc-Pod or to use with other compact lamp systems and so improve the light output.

Together, the Arc-Pod and the Original Tropical compact lamp make an ideal combination for the small coldwater or tropical freshwater aquarium, as well as other small tank situations such as breeding or quarantine tanks, or even the marine Refugium where the output of the lamp will promote healthy growth of plant species such as Caulerpa sp.
