Fish often carry a small population of skin and gill parasites. This population rapidly increases when fish become stresses and can kill fish if left untreated. The velvet parasite looks like a dull yellowish dist and has a lifecycle under 24 hours. Velvet control quickly and effectively cures a fish of velvet infection once correctly diagnosed and treated as directed.
When to use:
- Fish flick or rub themselves against objects
- Fish show rapid gill movement and gasping at water surface
- Fish clamp up tight and fish appear to be hanging at water surface
- A dull yellowish dust can be seen on top of the back, fins and eyes.
