Please allow all skimmers two (2) weeks to break in. This cup functions as a collection device and does not increase protein skimmate in your tank. Any skimmate in your tank is made by the skimmer collected in bubbles spilled over in the inTank cup. Actual skimmate collections depends on stocking, bioload, maintenance, and many other factors. The inTank collection cup is water tested and it's improved design directs bubbles better than stock, increasing collection in the cup.
