EHEIM thermofilters not only feature the benefits and technical extras of the proven professionel series but they are also equipped with a high quality, integrated heater (Integrated Heating System - IHS). The heater element and the water thermo sensor are located in the filter base. Therefore a heater in the aquarium is not required. The water temperature is controlled by the button fitted on the filter housing. A control lamp indicates the function of the heater element.
The supplied hose adapter is equipped with 2 shut-off valves which can be adjusted separately. The flow rate is set by means of these valves. The adapter is released and safely locked by means of a large lever. The hose and filter can be connected safely and easily.
Please note: These filters are not suitable for Marine aquariums.
